Staff are always very professional and friendly. We arrived a little early after a 13 hour car journey and were able to check in early. The room was very clean, quiet and warm. Perfect location when arriving via the Channel Tunnel. Perfect onsite parking. Takeaway breakfast available if needed.

Nice, cosy rooms. Food in the restaurant was excellent - had dinner there seven nights in a row. They have a good breakfast menu with a wide variety of foods. Special requests are no problem. The location is awesome - directly at the marina.

Fantastic stay at The George this past weekend. Clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfasts (we also had dinner our first night and can recommend), staff very helpful and friendly. Perfectly situated within about a 30 minutes drive of a half dozen National Trust properties, points of natural beauty (Bewl Water, Bedgebury Pinetum, etc) and Camber Sands.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had a view of the street and the old museum. The location was amazing and we could easily walk everywhere for sightseeing. We loved our stay here.
