First of all: the staff. Excellent relationship, excellent communication, prompt response to all of the queries. Secondly: cleanliness. Perfect. Third: quietness of the location: deafening quiet throughout our stay. Fourth: hotel’s position is closest to the heart of Dinan’s medieval centre. Great access (by our own car) to Mont Saint-Michel (easy 40 some km) and Saint Malo (30 some km). We really enjoyed our stay.

This B&B is surrounded by green fields and is just 2.5 km from Dinan Train Station.

What a delightful place! I had decided to book for 3 nights here rather than 1 night in St Malo and 2 in Dinan. I'm glad I did!! We were in the room at the very top of the house, in the rafters, accessed by a spiral staircase whose entry is like a cupboard door... Scarily steep with stairs barely wide enough for our feet, but Soo charming. Our host Ghislain was so very accommodating; the breakfast was incredible; the place could not have been cleaner; and on top of all of that, there is a guest lounge available at all times with chairs that you sink into and never want to get out of. The location was great too, with easy access to car parking, and to all significant locations in the town.

In the heart of Brittany, 800 metres from Dinan Town Centre, Hotel Spa Le Connetable is just a 30-minute drive from St-Malo and 20 km from Dinard. .

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They gave us a good recommendation for an excellent restaurant within walking distance and information on visiting the old town. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty and I loved the make your own fresh orange juice machine.

I loved the welcoming, cozy atmosphere! The staff was always available and eager to greet me. I wanted to practice my French, so everyone slowed down their speaking for me. The bed was comfy and the room super clean. My room had a little balcony to enjoy on sunny days. :)

After travelling all over Brittany/Normandy, both my husband and myself were exhausted. We were greeted by our charming, and welcoming hostess offering wine and goodies. We stayed in the "honeymoon suite", with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept with - truly. Then, woke up to a fresh breakfast of fresh fruit, croissants, perfectly cooked eggs, assortment of jams, cheeses, meats, coffee, etc., and her lovely company who suggested some destinations we might like to see.
