Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Closeness to the barge for airport is great if you don't have too many bags. Area is great with some lovely streets with nice shops to wander in and out of. Would definitely use it again.

The Ibis hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main airport terminal in Mayotte, so absolutely no difficulty in finding the place. Check in went smoothly and reception kindly switched our room after a small mix up with room type. The bedroom was well appointed with a comfortable large bed, good a/c, and a fantastic shower with good pressure. The restaurant, situated adjacent to the hotel and the pool, had decent options for dinner and we opted for the daily special. The following morning we had a fantastic buffet breakfast with excellent choice of food. Thankfully there was no restriction on water use in the hotel, as the rest of the island is unfortunately struggling with water availability. Getting into town was easy. From the airport we grabbed a taxi and got to the ferry in about 10 minutes. Taxis are plentiful there and if you choose to wait, you can take a shared taxi for as little as 2euro a person. If you want a private taxi its possible to negotiate a flat rate.

Located in Dzaoudzi, a 11-minute walk from Plage du Faré, 2 0 HÔTEL Vanille has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Excellent sized bed, comfortable and perfectly balanced between firmness and softness. Nice red ambiance light above the bed, although it cannot be used without the 2 low-power spots to create a perfect intimate mood, it’s almost a 10/10. Very nice room size, fridge with some different beer types included, Pringles, Moroccan Tea and Snickers. Apparently well noise-insulated, didn’t hear nothing from the outside and nobody complained about my own noise. The bathroom is beautiful and sized as needed. The host guy is really kind and even got me some extra beers pretty late in the night.
