The property was lovely, clean, comfortable, and secure. The staff were very helpful and respectful. We booked it for the entire Zambia trip and used it as a base while we made short trips to other parts of Zambia. The hospitality was unparalleled. We really enjoyed our stay here. I loved the fact that the property combined 'business club' facilities (restaurants, coffee shop, gym, yoga terrace, etc.) and hotel rooms and in 2 separate buildings. So, whenever I wanted to be in an environment with people, activities, etc. I could just walk over but also the rooms were completely 'sound proofed' and completely quiet once I am out of the activity areas.

Great hotel - very cool decor, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and comfortable rooms! We were there on a Friday night and there was live music in The Other Side (a members club in the hotel grounds) so we had dinner and drinks there and it was so much fun. We were worried the music might keep us awake but it was all done by 11pm and we had a very peaceful night's sleep. I also had a massage which was excellent, and the spa staff were very kind to fit me in on short notice. Would highly recommend and we hope to come back one day!

I did not have breakfast. In very difficult circumstances where there is power cuts of days sometimes, the management work continually to ensure that power was available most of the time for guests. I will recommend Dover Lodge as a good place to stay, clean, friendly staff and great value for money.
