We were incredibly impressed by the lodge – your help was simply outstanding. Everything was perfectly arranged, and the host’s assistants were joyful and absolutely delightful. We ate exceptionally well. Truly no words. Annie and John, we’re deeply grateful for the warm and loving treatment and everything else. A special experience was staying at the Lion Tree Top Lodge in the Greater Kruger Park. At night you hear the lions roar, the hyenas call and the monkeys jump on the roof and terrace of your lodge. In the morning while you are under the outdoor shower you see the impalas and springboks pass by. During the day with a nice glass of wine by the pool you see the zebras drinking from the pond nearby. And close to the resort you can see the giraffes walk. A very special experience to see all those animals pass by your lodge. In the evening we had a very nice meal around the cozy campfire in the boma together with the super sweet hosts Brian and Lynn. The lodges are beautiful and equipped with all the necessities, separated from each other by wooden paths that provide the necessary privacy. So the resort seemed all to yourself. No mass tourism here like with the accommodations in the Kruger Park. In short, a real African bush experience in this small-scale, cozy resort, which was a highlight of our road trip through South Africa, thanks in part to Brian and Lynn.

We loved our stay at Kingfisher Cottage. Annie welcomed us and showed us around . The place was so clean and the gardens are beautiful. Loved the comfortable bed. We did a sunset game drive and saw zebra, giraffe, buffalo and warthogs.
