Lovely well laid out and well equipped property. Really relaxing feel about the whole place. Views at the end of the driveway overlooking the Crocodile river into the KNP. Lovely attentive staff and interaction with Michelle the owner always good and on hand. Very highly recommended to all that love the true African way of life. Also on the plus side the property is only 15 mins from Crocodile Bridge the entrance to the Kruger Park.

Our stay at Ungava Retreat was incredible. Travelling from Australia, we were completely blown away by the design of the place—it was even better than the photos suggested and made for the perfect romantic getaway. The absolute highlight was the wildlife coming right up to the window, which created a truly magical and unforgettable experience. Amazing location with great facilities - the photos do not do it justice. The host was incredibly attentive and available to assist with any of our queries. The aircon in our room had some issues and he kindly moved us into another room. The pool outside with the animals roaming around is lovely and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again.

A little slice of bush heaven tucked near the Kruger Park. The staff and volunteers were extremely kind and attentive and quickly make you feel part of the hostel community. Within a few hours of arriving we had visitors by the pool (zebras!). The hostel was extremely clean and well decorated. The pool was clean and great for when you need to cool down. There were different spaces to mingle with others or have some quiet time/do work if you wish. The tours were awesome - despite it being a scorcher of a day we saw a plethora of wildlife! The hostel doesn’t host too many guests, which creates an intimate feel and makes it easier to get to know everyone. By the end of the trip, you will feel like part of the hostel family. I hope to visit again and will recommend to friends! 🌻

Great property with amazing staff. Michael was a great host and very helpful throughout our stay. The place is nicely decorated and very comfortable, with animals wondering around (ie. zebras, girrafes, ...). The dinner we had at location was also great and there is also a supermarket at a 10 min walking distance. Easy to drive / park in and/or for game drive pickups. Highly recommended.

There was an adquate number of restaurants.

There was an adquate number of restaurants. The shops were very sparing and contained basic goods. Security was good. The only downside was the additional time taken to get there because of extensive road works after Bombela (Nelspruit) and the inordinate volume of slow moving coal trucks going back and forth to Mozambique.

We are frequent visitors to Marloth Park.

We are frequent visitors to Marloth Park. We love the close proximity to Kruger Park, The shops, restaurants, and water park are great, as well as the balance of quiet time we can spend in the bush watching the animals.

The trip was with wonderful the place looked exactly as the pictures, the place is clean and fully equipped in terms of cutlery and that made everything about the stay awesome. The animals coming to visit anytime was also a 100%.

Marloth is an amazing place to go visit.

Marloth is an amazing place to go visit. Everything you need is within the park. The local butchery is a must stop for steaks, dry wors and biltong. The water park and eatery were a great treat for the kids and our group. The people were extremely friendly and the local wildlife that came to visit our house and the kids could feed them with the food on sale at the gate or any of the other shops in the park. We hope that the area will get rain soon as all is very dry after nearly two years of drought. The upside is you get to spot the animals easier.

We loved being able to walk and experience the wildlife up...

We loved being able to walk and experience the wildlife up close. We had an amazing meal at a restaurant overlooking the Crocodile River. This is a wonderful experience for anyone who loves experiencing wildlife up close and personal.

It was a treat to have game visit your doorstep any time of...

It was a treat to have game visit your doorstep any time of day. Enjoyed the view of different types of wildlife all around the park. There's a variety of food areas just slow service in some of the establishments but good food especially at the Bos restaurant. Enjoyed the spar in the park which came in handy with forgotten items.

The villa was really like in the pictures. Clean, spatious and with an exclusive feeling. The fact that animals can come and see you from time to time makes it a really unique and great experience. The staff was really kind and we had amazing dinners they made us. We will recommend to everyone wanting to have a great experience in the Marloth park area.

The location is perfect- close to the park, restaurants and shops.The accommodation is very comfortable, relaxng and spacious. The hosts very very attentive and friendly. The wildlife and birds are wonderful especially my favourite Kudu that came to be fed apples- We definitely recommend Kiburi Lodge and will be returning next time in Marloth Park.
