Large and comfortable rooms with great views, two lovely pools, delicious bar food and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff led by manager Sandy all make for an unforgettable experience. This boutique hotel of only 6 rooms is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The views from the pool and breakfast area are gorgeous. The cinema suite room we had was stunning. The photos don't even do it justice. It has a long balcony where we were able to watch the sunset over the The Heads. The bathroom is massive with a free standing bath overlooking the gorgeous bay. With all these beautiful views it still feel very private and secluded. Lastly there's a large private cinema room with a big smart tv where you can watch a movie. The staff are so lovely...Dora was an angel and even organised a last minute dinner reservation for us. They have clearly listened to previous constructive criticism because a generator kicked in almost immediately at approx 10pm when there was some load shedding. Breakfast was tasty with some good hot options as well.

    Knysna is a beautiful town and a highlight in the Garden Route! A must to visit is the waterfront area. We had a fantastic trip on a yacht to the Heads at sunset with Springtide! The restaurants at the Waterfront are the best in town. We loved 34 Degrees South and Drydock Company. A visit to the Heads is a highlight. Knysna is surrounded with beautiful forest and there are plenty walks to choose from.

    Knysna is a beautiful town and Holiday Destination. There are alot of attractions within close driving distance to visit i.e. Knysna Elephant Park, Monkey Sanctuary, etc. There are also alot of places to visit and explore in Knysna. We needed more time to explore everything, We will definitely visit Knysna again. Knysna and the surrounds are well taken care of and there was no littter that I can think of. The road going out to the heads is in desperate need of resurfacing. We loved the lookout points and scenery at the Knysna Heads. The Italian restaurant Piza'E Vino at the Heads was fantastic, Blend was also great.

    Knysna’s geography is beautiful.

    Knysna’s geography is beautiful. It is built alongside and in places in a massive lagoon. There are alot of activities eg walking, scenic drives, boat trips, golf courses etc. The town and its waterfront has a large range of shops and restaurants. Knysna is a must see and visit destination on the Garden Route.

    We really enjoyed our time in Knysna, we had several...

    We really enjoyed our time in Knysna, we had several activities planned and these were all fantastic. The restaurants in the tare great, there are loads of options. The town itself is quite busy and buzzing, if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday this might not be the best option.

    I entered both of the cycle races but the whole experience...

    I entered both of the cycle races but the whole experience was wonderful - the views were awesome; people were friendly, and the facilities very good. Restaurants in the area were top of the range. Even joyed the rugby on the tv's at a local pub & grill at Buffelsbaai.

    The location was fantasic with a large terrace onto the waterfront. The welcome from Faith was exceptional. The parking and security felt very safe and we had an easy walk to Thisen Island. I guess the bedroom and kitchen were slightly tired but very clean with good linens & given the incredible location it was extremely good value for money. We loved the Dry Dock restaurant and 34 South, Knysna Heads, the swimmable beach at Buffalo Bay and East Head Cafe. Leisure Island is beautiful, a very special stay.

    Interesting and quirky hotel in Knysna. The room was spacious and also had features from the original use of the building and the communal spaces were great. Breakfast was very tasty (many members of the public also come in to eat there which is a good sign!) and the portions were huge. Perfectly located for restaurants and boat trips by the lagoon.

    This is a well run hotel. It is not a luxury hotel but that is reflected in the cost and for what it is, it is excellent. Rooms a good size, comfortable,clean and serviced daily. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Food is good. Close to the waterfront so location is good. 2 great places to eat at either end of the road.
