We each had a kitchenette in the room, with fridge, microwave and sink, and the rooms had more "architectural character" than some hotels, which I liked. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. My sister said their room had a security light outside that shown into their room at night, but my room didn't have that issue (plus I wear a sleep eye mask). Staff was very friendly. Although it is an older style motel with smaller-sized rooms, it felt recently remodeled with fresh tile, bathroom, and flooring throughout.
