This was our second time staying at Hanscom’s and we LOVE it!! It’s super dog friendly, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip! If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the grill, cornhole, propane fire and regular fire pit that has fire starters, wood and paper to make starting your fire super easy! We plan to make it an annual trip because we love it so much!

The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The property is in a wonderful location and we were able to walk to local restaurants and shops. Our room was nicely appointed with views of the water. The breakfast area was extremely pleasant and the staff went out of their way to accommodate special food needs. A wonderful inn!

EVERYTHING. Vira is a great host, we found a cozy atmosphere at our arrival. The house is was clean, the kitchen was clean and well provided with coffee, sugar, salt and fresh water in the fridge. The bathroom was clean and full of towels. Bedrooms are very spacious. And the terrace is the perfect spot to relax and admire the natural surroundings.

Spotless room, very quiet. Comfortable beds. 20 mins leisurely walk to downtown Bar Harbor. We stayed in the top building and enjoyed a sea view from the balcony.
