My wife has been wanting to visit Sedona for a couple years now. So glad we finally decided to visit. It is a beautiful area. We went in “off season” - summer. We are used to hot temperatures so the heat was really not a problem for us. Bonus, in off season it is really easy to get around the area in a car. I spoke to a Sedona resident who said in peak season it can take her over an hour just to drive her son to school. Uptown has so many shops to visit. We also enjoyed local restaurants and saw very few big national chain restaurants. One of our favorites was the ChocolaTree. All organic, fresh and unique dishes.

We did it all, A holiday weekend may have not been the right timing .. Traffic was crazy .. but otherwise the trolley tour was great , Restaurants are always great. And we always hit a few trails while were there.

Beautiful, breathtaking view, loads of hiking trails and many restaurants for every taste. Loved being up high, like Airport Mesa lookout and Chapel of Holy Cross, for a wide-angel view of the city. The town is full of resorts that make your stay relaxing and convenient. Plenty of stores, shops and a great visitors center to complete your stay. Situated in the Verde Valley, the area offers a variety of charming towns nearby like Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome and Camp Verde. The downtown can get quite busy during the weekends and tourist season but it's best to park the car and just walk.

I like everything from customer service, when we check in late, the lady is super helpful. She showed us the tourist places, interior with Native American design, good quality of bed and pillows, superb breakfast. Southwest inn in Sedona is my favorite hotel.

    Natural beauty if terrific.

Natural beauty if terrific. There are many great sites to visit and many options and tours to get to the various sites. We did a Pink Jeep Tour and it was excellent. There are several great drives with terrific views of the red rocks. We also did a trip to Jerome which was well worth the time. If you visit Jerome I would suggest eating at the Clinkscale.

It's beautiful with everything on your doorstep: hikes, scenic viewpoints, great bars and restaurants. The Sedona shuttle runs from Thursday-Sunday making it easy to park and hop on to get to various trailheads. Can highly recommend the Sedona Beer Company as a perfect little bar/bistro with huge portions and the best service I've had in ages.

Sky Ranch Lodge in Sedona is the perfect place to stay. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with charming little cottages and a lovely pool area featuring a jacuzzi. There are plenty of activities for both kids and adults, and the happy hour with a Sedona sunset view is a must. I wish we could have stayed longer because everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious, and the area is peaceful and safe.

Great location in Oat Creek Village : shops and restaurants within walking distance and the drive to Sedona which is 12 min. away is very scenic. Southwest tasted delicious breakfast made to order , big and confortable room . The hotel has an outdoor unheated swimming pool that we didn't use ; it also have a hot bathtub and a sauna. Daily room service is available UPON REQUEST.

We stayed here in May as part of our month long route 66 trip to the USA. We loved Sedona and we really liked Cedars resort. The location was great. The hotel room was a decent size. The views from the hotel balcony at the back were amazing. The pool was also good, though not heated.

Having living room in addition to bed room made the stay comfortable. Sedona is place for trekking but due to the hot climate difficult to do trekking whole day, so going back to the hotel with living room is important.
