I chose Searsport as a central location to explore that part of Maine. There is really nothing in Searsport, but it's quiet, couple of places to eat, and good grocery store. 85 minutes north to Bar Harbor,, 35 minutes south to Camden very nice town, and two hours to Kennebunkport. Nice Golf course on the way to Camden.

The Yardarm is located central to all of the places that I wanted to visit. The grounds are beautiful and Rick, the owner was right there whenever I needed anything. I would highly recommend the Angler restaurant which is 5 minutes from the hotel. The high point for me regarding the hotel was the breakfast room. Absolutely beautiful and the baked goods were as good as it gets!

The location of the hotel is very convenient. The grounds are very attractive. We really enjoy staying at mom & pop motels to support small business. It was wonderful to sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air and view. Breakfast room was very pleasant. Food choices were good; we especially enjoyed your homemade blueberry muffins.
