Downtown Santa Fe is charming and walkable with tons of culture. It’s not nearly as big as I expected from a state capital! Very manageable for a short trip. Most shops lean touristy (so many jewelry stores) but in the plaza you can find local artisans selling. The food scene is excellent. Don’t miss Senior Murphy’s for Piñon chocolates or Tia Sophia’s for red or green enchiladas and sopapillas with honey!

Santa Fe is truly an international destination.

Santa Fe is truly an international destination. We live within an hour's drive of it in Rio Rancho, but it brings the world to us -- fine dining; the Santa Fe opera in the summer; chamber music festival in the fall; a variety of art galleries, museums, School of Advanced Research (SAR) lectures and field trips -- the list is only limited by the time one has to visit!

The culture and the history of course!

The culture and the history of course! It was enjoyable walking around the Plaza area and not seeing trash or feeling like we had to be on our guard. We felt safe and were happily surprised that the public restrooms next to the public parking lot even had individual security guards outside! Good job Santa Fe, world class historic city preserved for all

We enjoyed walking to Plaza and viewing items during Indian Market. Beautiful city with pleasant 80s Temps and low Humidity. Ate twice at The Pantry locals favorite and Palacio. The Flamenco performance at El Cabaret Flamenco and Tapas was Wonderful. Our 4th time and it gets better each season.

I have been coming to Santa Fe for over 20 years, mostly to the Opera. I had stay in all kind of accommodations. It is a pilgrimage to the soul. I had enjoyed the museums, the open, the choral the chamber music, the Indian market, the international market, the sSpanish market, the armers market. Mostly the food, like no other place. I had visited the Pueblos, Chimayo, Los Alamos, Ojo Caliente, Ten thousands wave etc.

You really can't go wrong with places to eat - there are so many great choices. I used to live here and chose to visit places I once worked at. Canyon Road art walk is the best. Be sure to check the weather before packing - it can vary drastically depending on time of year. If walking is your thing, consider checking out the Dale Ball trails. Lots of trail options from beginner to advanced. But be sure you're acclimated to the elevation before you head out. If the Opera or historical museums is your vibe, there are lots of cultural activities.

One of only a couple places I will stay in Santa Fe while traveling through on business and leisure. It is centrally located, the owners are fantastic and friendly, the facilities are well kept and maintained. One of the best hotels in central Santa Fe for travelers wanting a good balance of budget and comfort.

The suite was extremely quiet and comfortable with all the facilities we needed for a 6 night stay. The views across Santa Fe were amazing. With a 15 minute walk into town. We enjoyed it so much that we changed our holiday plans and rebooked for our last 3 nights in New Mexico.

It's a great location with nice rooms and good breakfast for the price. I always recommend it to friends looking for moderate price of Santa Fe hotels. It is a great value. The bar is a plus too...good food and drink at the Social Club.
