I lived here 35 yrs ago, still friendly place and vibrant community. Sadly some down-sizing has happened and some the old fashioned charm is gone, but still glad to important history is preserved! The Aroostook Centre Mall is nearly vacant, but many new stores are open. Places to eat McDonalds, Arbys, Ruby Tuesdays, Dominoes, Northeast land Hotel Restaurant, Mia Tai still open. I grew up in Caribou and was there to put my mom to rest and visit my brother. However, I chose to stay in Presque Isle. They have better and more stores and restaurants. I did not want to have to drive further every time I needed something. It was much more convenient for us. The folks are all so nice. I do miss northern Maine!Guest review byStacey

I can count on friendliness and cleanliness every time. I always recommend Hampton Inn (especially this one). Our flight was delayed this trip, putting us checking in after midnight. We were met at the desk by a pleasant, informative, engaging employee.
