    Lake Placid is beautiful.

    Lake Placid is beautiful. There are many things to see and do. however the prices were a bit high. Mirror Lake is wonderful. Didn't get a good look at Lake placid. Really need to shop around for reasonably priced dining. We enjoyed Mt. Vanhoven Berg. Enjoyed the Olympic Musem. Like most museums more fun if you have an interest in the subject.

    We should have known that Lake Placid would be full of...

    We should have known that Lake Placid would be full of tourists. This is not our favorite type of destination, but it was a convenient stopping point as we returned to Ohio from Canada. The Adirondacks are beautiful and there are many hiking trails to explore in the area. If we were in this area again, I would stay in Saranac and drive to the parts of the Adirondacks I am interested in. It is a less touristy town, but still offers good dining and hiking options. What we appreciated about the Devlin was that it was not fancy and was located on the edge of town. If you like Gatlinburg, you'll love Lake Placid.

    This was the best trip, just beautiful.

    This was the best trip, just beautiful. Plenty to see and do, good food, able to walk to everything in town. Really enjoyed Revolutuon Rail Co, Lake placid pub and Brewery and Smoke Singals. We really liked shopping at Critters shop, those ladies were so sweet!

    Everyone should visit LP at least once in their lifetime!

    Everyone should visit LP at least once in their lifetime! Between the beauty and history and wonderful things to do like white face ex how could you go wrong.ps I’m an avid Motorcyclist and have been visiting the area on bikes for more than years and it just doesn’t get much better than the lake placid area!

    Lake Placid is a beautiful place to visit. There is something for everyone to do. A lot of families. The restaurants are wonderful and all staff is so friendly. I would highly recommend visiting Lale Placid.

    I was just passing thru on my way back from Quebec.

    I was just passing thru on my way back from Quebec. But the town is very nice. They've hosted two Olympics here and it's probably a lot more popular in the winter (I was there in early October). A decent selection of restaurants, but they're not all open 7 days/week in the off season so check ahead. A good ski town.

    This hotel is set in a beautiful setting with big suites. Has loads of facilities (most included free of charge). Lovely staff. Super comfy beds, great livingroom and nice kitchen. Great bar on the second floor. Fantastic beach area down by the lake with beachvolleyball, kayaks, canoes, SUPs and towles, really lovely. Also, the hotel has 3 movies a day in its own cinema and a fantastic games room as well as two bowling alleys (all free of charge).

    When we checked in, the clerk Kayla gave us a tour and and told us about different things going on in Lake Placid. She is a real gem. When she realized it was our first visit, she gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy. We also liked the nightly fire pits and got to meet alot of people from all over.

    The hotel looks very new. Its designed beautifully. The lobby and common areas are so welcoming and the view to the lake is amazing. The room is big and also designed. The kitchen is not very equipped. If they had breakfast it would make the stay much better
