Asbury Park is great.
Asbury Park is great. There is live music (multiple venues on weekends) and many choices for good food. Try Toast for breakfast. And Ralph's ices in the boardwalk for dessert. Everything is walkable. The distance from the boardwalk to the center of town is less than a mile. The beach is nice, and if you walk south you can walk from town to town along the oceanfront (we walked about 4 miles to Belmar).Guest review byJeffreyUnited States - 10.0

Artsy and eclectic.
Artsy and eclectic. Great restaurants, and range of evening entertainment. A combination of old and new between the Paramount and the boardwalk. Just a very, very friendly relaxed place to go by yourself or with friends. I usually go to part in an open mic night with Bob Egan at The Asbury on Tuesdays. Front desk was super nice - we got upgraded to king room...
Front desk was super nice - we got upgraded to king room upon check-in which was awesome! The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor heated pool during the day and firepits at night.
