We didn't get to visit the town much except for driving...
We didn't get to visit the town much except for driving around looking for an open Pharmacy, but it looks like a great little touristy town with lots of hotels and other places to stay. We stayed there primarily to visit Tustan Fortress during a festival.Guest review byClintonUkraine - 10.0
The area around the Carpathian Mountains is full of beauty...
The area around the Carpathian Mountains is full of beauty and adventure. In 2023 this is a safe area for tourists and is far from any war dangers. There are many interesting side trips and we used a rental car from Budget car rentals we got in Lviv so we could have more freedom. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful even though we only knew a little Ukrainian. There were very few English speakers in the mountain areas, but we used phone translators like Google. The food and shopping are great in Skhidnitsa especially at Poeziya Mandriv. The roads driving to and from Lviv were in good condition, but some mountain and small town roads had holes. The water in the mountains has sulfur which is alleged to be good for skin and hair, and we soaked in it at our resort at Poeziya. The old mountain fort of Tustan was interesting and a great walk. There are numerous mountain hikes in the area that are safe and fun.Guest review byRexAdamUnited States
