The beach isn't too far away, the calm and quiet environment, restaurants are close by. And for my fitness lovers, there's a really cool gym close by as well. The apartment was clean, and the host was super friendly and always ready to help. We were very impressed by Hotel Amaranth. The hotel is very close to the Mbezi bus station which was extremely convenient for our journey to the Usambara Mountains. The hotel kindly reserved our bus tickets for us, provided a free bus transfer to the station and prepared us all a packed breakfast to take with us, even though our bus was at 5:30am! The staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the on-site restaurant was lovely.
