The location is great, close to markets and main pedestrian area with shops. The rooms are renovated, clean and cosy. The stuff is helpful and kind. Parking in front of the hotel was guaranteed. Although the hotel is in a busy area, and kids are playing in a yard outside and the birds are non-stop singing in all the trees around, actually the stay was nice and peaceful. The city has a lot of history, 17 battles took place here.
The city has a lot of history, 17 battles took place here. Unfortunately not much is preserved today. During my visit most of the historic sites were closed for restoration. You must try the food and visit the hammam next to the Selimiye Mosque. You must also visit the Mosque itself, the Complex of Sultan Bayezid II Health Museum and have a walk around the town. Don't be fooled by the "low prices". They are not low anymore. If you want to buy a good value for money products go to the large supermarkets. Don't buy cheap items from the local street market.
