A haven of blue tranquility and art with an other worldly feel. The people are friendly. We felt safe and never felt threatened in any way. The taxi system works wonderfully although some of the vehicles can do with a bit of maintenance. The food is delicious. The medina a thrilling experience. The colosseum a must visit together with the other ruins in Carthage. Lovely old village, despite the occasional bus loads of tourists pouring in. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular and there are several public terraces where people congregate to watch and socialize. Great cafes to hang out at, but you have to look hard for good food. The flat was better and larger than it looks in the photos. It consisted of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a shower.
