FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Singapore offers one of the greatest entertainment for the whole family and clean environment in the world and every thing is systematic, organized and easy to communicate with people. If we get a chance to stay forever in Singapore we will happily do it . That’s how much love we have for this beautiful country. We really thank the Singapore government for giving us such a wonderful place to visit and enjoy every bit of the country.

Singapore is really nice. Quite a touristy place obviously. Everything was good especially women safety. As someone who was travelling with a friend alone internationally for the first time, it felt really safe. We spent covering most tourist attractions that's why our days were busy. We got out early morning and came back late night. Depending on what you want to do here, you can plan your itinerary. Of course there are all these famous attractions like merlion park, gardens by the bay, Singapore flyer that everybody knows about but there are also some amazing beaches where you can just go and chill if you don't want to be in the city for the most part. Sentosa is another gem. I would say in a week you can explore major parts of Singapore. The only thing you should keep in mind if you come from a country where walking isn't norm, there's a lit of walking in Singapore. Like a lot. Unless you have enough money to book taxi everytime which I think is very expensive. Also, heads-up for vegetarians. Incredibly hard to find vegetarian food in Singapore except for Little India and Farrer park. You cannot just think oh I'll go out and grab something on the way. Overall, it's a beautiful city. Love the metro here. Well connected. Makes travel super easy.

Clean, curteous, safe, easy - everything is so efficient!

Clean, curteous, safe, easy - everything is so efficient! The MRT system puts every Australian city public transport system to shame - maximum wait time was 2mins! Expensive! Compared to other SE Asian countries your dollar doesn't go as far - so a week in Singapore is plenty when travelling with a family. Visit the Gardens by the Bay - well worth it!

First time to Singapore, got to see some of the city highlights, but not enough time to do it justice in 2 days, need at least 4 days and better shoes next time! So much walking! Tip, take a tour!. Amazing architecture, great food, so many shops! Great easy to follow transport, train service.

    Singapore is a wonderful city.

Singapore is a wonderful city. Many things to see and do and something for everyone. We loved the Gardens by the Bay, the Botanic Gardens, Scentosea Trail, Universal Studios, Madam Tussauds (I was really pleased about this, I was worried as I had been before when it was the old Sentosa Wax Museum I was really pleased they had kept the history of Singapore). Only thing I think that wasn't really worth the visit - was the Oceanarium previous Aquarium was much better.

An excellent hotel in a great location! Many attractions are within walking distance, making it perfect for exploring the city. The room was well-equipped and offered a stunning view of both the city skyline and lush greenery, creating a jungle-like atmosphere. The gym and swimming pools with city views were outstanding, and the unique walking path around the hotel added to the experience. In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels in Singapore—highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to exit B at Bencoolen MRT station on the blue Downtown line. The room was a good size and quiet. We did not have breakfast but the hotel was good value considering the cost of hotels in Singapore.
