From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning.
From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning. This area contains the southern part of the Transfagarasan mountain pass and there is a lot to see and do here. The scenery is spectacular - it also takes a long time to drive, so make sure that you have enough time. Try and avoid night time driving for animals (bears and dogs), but also for the fact that the road is extremely winding and tiring to drive. You will certainly see bears - the southern part of the road (Highway #7C) is a bear conservation area along Lake Vidraru.Guest review byGeurtCanada

We were met personally by the owner, he helped to park our cars. Then they prepared sandwiches for us, although the kitchen was no longer working! Clean room, delicious food, friendly staff!
