This is a centrally located brand-new hotel beautifully decorated. The hotel is within the walled city of Valenca do Minho. There are many excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. The common areas and rooms were clean, comfortable and well set out. The bathroom was excellent with a soft light and an amazing shower. In the common area there is a fridge and a coffee machine for use by the guests which is a very nice touch.

Clean tidy room, small but adequate. Great shower. Lounge and kitchen were shared facilities. Nice outlook. Staff nice and helpful. The was some snacks and drinks available that you can purchase on site. There were push bikes free to use but it was too wet while we were there. Overall great concept. 🙂 free parking.

Location, location, location! Located right in the heart of the old fort area but quiet at night. Comfortable and clean 1 bedroom apartment with a double bed and bunk bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the kitchen. Kitchen had oven and stovetop suitable for cooking in. Check in was done by keycode so was simple and easy. Communicating with host was quick. Internet was good as was hot water and water pressure. The apartment is right on the Caminho route. I recommend staying here.

    Valença is a lovely town half of which is still inside the fortifications. The restaurants and shops are friendly and accommodating the views from the fortress are beautiful. A word of "warning" the food is amazing and the portions HUGE!

    The stay with Ana and Pedro was so great! The facilities are great and inviting for relaxation but also for conversation. The food was really good and with thought for the pilgrims. It might be in a little city, but it's not far from Valenca and a good distance from Caminha. After my stay here, I became aware of looking for places outside of the city because they are more cozy and personal.

    Right on the Camino trail. Located inside the Fortaleza in Valença. Location is excellent, near the cafes. The property has a lift, very rare in the Old Town. It’s also next to a church. Coffee and tea are offered for free and you can have it anytime and as much as you like. The beds are comfy, the room is clean, water pressure in the bathroom is strong. Recommended highly!

    Great stay! I didnt meet the staff in person, since it came out of season, but the lady contacted me on whatsapp and gave me all the necessary information with details and photos. Everything matched perfectly. The location was great and the facilities very clean and efficient. And Valença is really a picturesque little town with friendly people.

    This made for an excellent stop along the Camino. Clean room, comfy bed and a generous breakfast. Although a little outside of town, the hotel is situated close to a Lidl which I found useful to stock up on supplies before continuing my walk.

    This hotel is in the walls of the castle and it is really amazing! We loved the location and after a long walk, it was nice not to have to walk to far to enjoy the castle and get dinner at the end of the street!
