Beautiful setting surrounded by vinyards. We had a family room in a separate building a couple of hundred yards from the hotel, so a short stroll for a very nice breakfast in the morning. Dinner is either a taxi ride to Pinhao/Sabrosa, or there is a restaurant at the end of the drive... no menu, which was a bit disconcerting, but the food was really top quality. Really liked the honesty bar near the pool, which was a great place to sit with a glass or two of the local wine. We were on a walking holiday, and the walks in the local area around Sabrosa, Alijo and Pinhoa are absolutely stunning. Daniel was effectively acting as host and he was brilliant.

An absolutely fantastic experience! The hosts that make you feel like you are their family. Amazing set of local snacks as a compliment on the arrival, port wine and a bottle of their red wine, incredible! The apartment itself is huuge and has everything and more than you can expect! Vitor and his lovely wife even gave us their warm clothes since we were too silly and mixed the weather, Vitor gave us a lift to a lovely restaurant close by where we had amazing dinner! I could go on and on and on. Absolutely highlight of our travels in Portugal! Me & mom were very happy! And the hostess gave us a lovely handmade present when we were leaving! I mean, they are fantastic! Thanks so mch!!!

Rosa & family were at the property when we arrived. Showed us around and nothing was too much trouble, even taking us to the nearest still open supermarket for us to get some food (we arrived Sunday evening). What can I say that hasn't been said before? WOW!! The pool was clean, the property was clean, the view from the balcony was sublime. The wine - delicious, make sure to try some! 1 double room, 1 twin room was just perfect for us. Everywhere we wanted to go was approx 1/2 hour drive away. Just want to say thank you again 🙏 ❤️

New, modern and  very peaceful  guest house. The hosting family are the nicest people, very attentive and welcoming, making us feel at home. The room was of good size, spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The guest house offers an excellent atmosphere, very quiet and relaxed. Dinners were excellent, a real treat. We will certainly love to come back, anytime.

Perfect location. Isolated from the touristy places right outside. It was an oasis. I can not imagine staying anywhere else in Pinhao. It made the entire experience special.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are ultra modern and clean. We had the 3 course meal - absolutely amazing and such good value for money with the wine pairing too. The welcome drink was a lovely touch. I can’t rate this hotel highly enough for a chill out break with fabulous food at a great price!

Beautiful hotel, great views and even in the pool you can see down to the river and a cross to the vines. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. The house cat knows how to relax and once here it is easy to join in and chill out. Big underground garage of the road for free parking.

    This hotel is stunning, set in the vineyard it is a perfect location, however you will definitely need a car to get around, not one for public transport. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and great A/C which is a must. There's no bar but there is an honesty fridge/bar where you can help yourself to drinks which works really well. Breakfast was nice enough but a little monotonous even after one day.

    Accommodation was great and highly recommend. Pleasant surprise exceed expectations! Bedroom comfy, shower and pressure good. Kitchen great with all utensils to cook in available. In a quiet little village that was great to walk around and explore. A little out of the way but only 20 minutes to Sabrosa and Pinao. Loved our stay!

    A beautiful estate situated between vineyards. Very peaceful. The hotel is a few 100 meters from the winery and a great restaurant which also belongs to the estate. We didn't use the pool because it was a rainy day. The hotel has several beautifully decorated rooms where you can just relax or a balcony to look at the vineyards.

    A very warm welcome from Joanna, with a complimentary bottle of wine by the pool following our arrival. The hotel has great character, nice large room and offers a delicious breakfast.... great stay!
