A fantastic property in a stunning location. We loved the thematic decor of the property. They have some lovely touches like a rooftop sunset welcome drink. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. The 'wine at the table' experience is a must. The restaurant service was on point. The pool area is chic and the loungers comfortable. The water was refreshing! The spa area was good although the steam room seemed to turn itself off for some reason at one point. The fact that the horse stables are so close and that some of the horses roam the gardens adds a little magic. My wife had a horse riding lesson and enjoyed it.

Everything! The room is spacious, comfortable and smells good. It also includes a balcony outside where you can read a book in the shade while listening to the “loud silence” of nature. Pool area is fantastic. You have a good enough mix between shade and sun. Breakfast is pretty complete, mixed and with high quality. You can also visit the friendly animals at the location, including here Boss (dog), Ice and Cacau (horses). Last but certainly far from the least, the people. Thank you Valter, Marta and Margarida for the high hospitality. We felt at home and cared! PS: we don’t feel like we had the good enough time to enjoy each corner of the spot. We need to go back 😎

The apartment is perfect, clean, and new, it has good air conditioning and plenty of car park. The owner is very nice and I would just say it's a 5 stars just for this but what has something of incredible is the little village in which is situated. It is marvelous, I found myself in the middle of a true bull race, their summer fests last a week, and it is just astonishing, here time stopped and you can experience something priceless. I will be back for sure.

Our stay at Assumar Country House in Assumar was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, the owners - a lovely married couple -made us feel right at home. They were incredibly friendly, always accessible, and eager to help us discover the wonderful region, which is rich in food and wine experiences. The property itself is stunning. Set amidst the beautiful Alentejo fields, it offers breathtaking views and a refreshing pool that adds to the serene atmosphere. The house, an old historical building, has been tastefully renovated, blending its charming past with modern comforts. Our room was very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom that felt quite luxurious. Interestingly, there was no TV in the room, which we actually appreciated as it encouraged us to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Served on a lovely terrace with a great view, it featured a variety of fresh fruits, real eggs, delicious pastries, and freshly baked bread. The hosts once again went above and beyond, making our mornings truly special. Leaving Assumar was tough after such a wonderful stay. It felt like saying goodbye to a little piece of paradise. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enriching getaway. It was an amazing experience that we will cherish for a long time. We will definitely be back!
