I really like Whanganui & have visited often.
I really like Whanganui & have visited often. The city centre is lovely & there aren't food shops all over the place. This time I bought stuff from the supermarket to eat but I know some of the cafes are good. There should be a register of decent New Zealanders who respect motels so that they are looked after properly when they book for a visit. Some of the reviews appear to be vetted to show only good stuff. Unfortunately, the motels I know are good are usually booked out. Super accommodating hosts who have thought of absolutely everything you'd need for a wonderful stay. The space is lovely with an amazing garden and the service from Stacy was phenomenal. We requested another bed to be set up in the spacious lounge and there was still plenty of room. Excellent coffee and granola available for breakfast at your leisure.
