Everything! especially the gardens it was like a paradise, full of the most colourful flowers I have seen and birdsong, lovely clean room with outside balcony looking straight into the garden, food was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for the owner Kumar who went out and got me a bottle shower gel free of charge and took me to the Safari pick up and my next hotel free of charge, an exceptional place run by an exceptional man.

The hotel is conveniently located within a 15-minute walk from the very center of Sauraha in a peaceful neighborhood. The building is modern and well-maintained, boasting a spacious garden with beautiful plantations and tables where guests can enjoy their meals. The dishes served are generous in portion, delicious, and reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. Speaking of service, the family that runs the hotel is remarkably friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival and departure, I was pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary pick-up and drop-off services to the bus station, which were provided without even having to ask. Someone was waiting for me at the station upon my arrival, and the owner even offered to drive me back to the hotel when they saw me walking from the center. All of my bookings, including the Chitwan tour and bus ticket to Kathmandu, were efficiently arranged through them, with flawless organization of pickups and drop-offs to the starting points—I didn't have to lift a finger. During my stay, I opted for the deluxe king room with A/C. The room was immaculately clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for two persons, despite traveling solo. Hot water was available 24/7, and I did not experience any electrical shortages throughout my stay. There was a shared balcony just outside my room but also one available for every two rooms I think. The view was nice, looking at the fields of the area. Additionally, there was a shared balcony just outside my room, and I believe there was another one available for every two rooms. I truly couldn’t have had a better time at Tiger Den, I was made to feel like a part of the family. They all went above and beyond to integrate me into the town and culture. Ram organised the guided walks and night tower and transport for me so my time there so so easy and magical! You may even see a rhino walking down the street beside the hotel! I was so lucky to have found this gem of a place, I highly recommend.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He picked us up from the busstation, arranged jungle tours for us, got our loundry done and booked a busticket back for us. The food was all very good and big portions. The room was comfortable and clean and the swimmingpool was also very clean! The location is beautiful, surrounded by mustard fields. Definitely recommend this place if you’re planning a trip to Sauraha!

The most special part of my visit to Nepal was visiting Chitwan. An excellent place to observe animals and fauna of all kinds. The hotel was excellent and very clean. If you're very lucky you will see a tiger. And if your guides are Gopal and Som you are very lucky indeed! A most excellent guide and enthusiast about all he sees. Knows so much too! We were surprised to see the rhino grazing and walking inside the garden of the hotel.

    We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park.     We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

    Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

    Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself. Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

    Our one-night escape at Motherland Resort in Sauraha was simply exceptional. The standout dinner, pristine cleanliness, and the added bonus of a beautiful swimming pool made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

    The owner and personnel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a quiet street near the center of Sauraha, it had a beautiful, well maintained garden. Good breakfast and comfortable room. Price/quality is excellent. The owner arranged a full day walking Safari for us; we had a great time due to the experienced guides; the included lunch was also very tasteful. When you arrive in Chitwan with the bus, the car of the hotel comes to pick you up at the bus station and brings you to the hotel. Really a very good place to stay!

    Fantastic option for accommodation in Chitwan. Owner was very helpful. Organised the walking and Jeep safari. Luckily, the guide they provided for us was able to spot a Bengal Tiger, numerous rhinoceros and plenty of elephants. The hotel does bike hire as well as having a laundry service. In the evening there was a rhinoceros that walked past the property which was a great bonus!

    Had an amazing stay at Royal Tiger Luxury Resort. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. Loved the peaceful environment and the food was really good too. Perfect place to relax in Chitwan. Would definitely come back again!
