This was one of the best experiences we've have ever had in 30 years of travelling. Bishnu and his family are simply delightful! From the room to the great Nepalese food, to the amazing animals and birds! What we saw from rhino's to the amazing birds and the garials were simply stunning!A lovely family which helped made it simply memorable!

We had a truly wonderful time Barahi jungle lodge. It was hugely relaxing and peaceful, with our beautiful room looking over the river. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Food was really delicious every meal. Loved all of it - very fresh and varied. We did two full days of drives and saw extensive wildlife, with a fleeting glimpse of a tiger in the distance. However the large number of rhino, deer, monkeys, some sloth bears, bison and birds mean that it’s a really enchanting experience in beautiful surroundings. Huge thanks to every member of the team for making it such a wonderful experience. There was extreme kindness and generosity shown.

The homestay was absolutely lovely - Hari's parents and his little cousins are so open and welcoming and the food was so yummy but the biggest highlight of this stay was the Safari walk through the National Park. We saw so many animals that would have been missed if we were in a jeep and Hari's knowledge of all the animals was phenomenal Highly, highly recommend!

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.

A Perfect Nature Retreat! I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! Very nice place to relax and see the jungle. Staff were great and the food was exellent. We had Thali every night. Huge choice for breakfast. You can do jungle tours and go down the river. We saw lots of rinos crocodiles, and various birds. You can sometime see the crocidiles from the resort. In the evenings they had local dance performances and the pool was nice. Well recommend if you are looking for a few relaxing days.
