Beautiful nature and quiet neighbourhood surrounding the house. Our stay was comfortable . Friendly owner who also gave us tips on where to visit in the Lyngen area.

- The vibe of the lodge was perfect. When we arrived we were told the lodge was supposed to feel like a home away from home and it was exactly that. Cosy and comfortable. We felt very relaxed but at the same time the staff's attention to detail and hospitality was amazing. We loved chilling in the lounge area where the fire was always on, chilled music playing and the perfect ambience. - The staff, in particular Oliver, Alton and Romero made our stay incredible. The staff were very attentive, knowledgable, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. - The food was amazing. 5* quality food every evening. The chef checked regularly if we liked the food and came to the table to chat with us each evening about the food. We loved everything but for example for other guests he went out of his way to make something that more suited their tastes. - The activities. We did husky sledding, whale watching and the northern lights tour. They were all excellent and well organised. We didn't get to see the northern lights on our tour due to heavy cloud coverage but the tour guide still went out of his way to try and make the excursion enjoyable. Luckily we had seen the northern lights the previous night sat in the hot tub. They have a full equipment room with everything you need for the excursions including snow suits, snow boots, hats, gloves etc. They will make sure you are well equipped for whatever activity you have booked. - Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would 100% book this trip again and would recommend this lodge to everyone.

Everything was absolutely perfect. In my own personal experience is, there is a warehouse next to the apartments and we got the room that semi faced the warehouse that had three VERY bright spot lights. In our sleeping room it was very bright, even with the shutter down. We asked if we could change to the room facing the north part of the fijord, but had no response. If you can, ask for those ones😉lyngen room 🙃

Best part is the location right next to a fjord with beautiful view of the Lyngen alps. From the house various day trips can be done to Tromso, hiking in Blåisvattnet etc. Also a walk to the tip of the peninsula is spectacular as the views open up to all directions! The house was cozy and good size - our kids especially loved the movie and play room downstairs with huge projection screen. Hot tub on the terrace was also very well worth the extra cost.

Where do we even start, the host was absolutely lovely! As soon as we arrived off the ferry to the island we were warmly greeted by Hilde who collected us, drove us to the cabin and helped us get settled (we also saw some reindeer on the way haha). She also very kindly loaned is a pair of snow shoes and sticks each and advised us on the best place to take our midday walk. The next day she drove us to the local shop and the sauna which is just so lovely and so relaxing! She also informed us that she would be driving into Tromsø the next morning, offered to take us along too as we wanted to go in to see the reindeer before we left and she even sent us the link to a magical experience! The cabin is also beautifully located meaning that we got to see the auroras on our last night, the neighbours also gave us some advice on the best way to see them and Hilde took the most lovely photo of us with the auroras in the background. The cabin is also very comfortable and came with everything we needed to gook the food we got from the local supermarket. Honestly, such a lovely cabin with probably the warmest host I have ever had - I would highly recommend and would love to visit again :)

We had an unforgettable holiday here! The host was very kind and helpful. The absolute highlight was watching the northern lights above us from the jacuzzi. The house was warm, clean and cozy - the perfect getaway.
