The staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. The Christmas tree and fire in the hotel lobby create a strong Christmas atmosphere, and there are ski rentals in the hotel, and there is a circle bar when you go out. Absolutely perfect area for me in the slow time of year , walked for hours and relaxed to a home cooked meal by me. Still had snow and beautiful mountains. Great little café just down the street and had the best coffee in the whole trip. I got a perfect room with a balcony. world class gym to keep fit

Beautiful house in a beautiful location, a short drive from the ski resort. The owners live in the house and rent out the guest apartment, they were super nice and helpful. It is a new construction and all the furniture's are new, and the interior design is amazing!

A fantastic modern apartment with all moden amenities. The rooms were neat and clean. There were all the required utensils and crockery etc. The location was right in the middle of the small town of Hemsedal. There was a SPAR opposite for groceries. It wasn't open due to a holiday but the KIwi about 2 km away was open and had everything one would need for cooking. The front balcony was a perfect place to sit and enjoy the views. There was a sauna as well. The beds were all comfortable and the whole apartment didn't feel crowded with 8 of us.

    I was very happy with a friendly and helpful hotel reception...

    I was very happy with a friendly and helpful hotel reception and a well informed manager. I had been upgraded to a better room at their initiative. Happy with that! And a very good breakfast - much more than I need in the morning. Great location for a ski vacatiion with ski area shuttlebus stopping close by if you need it. You can take your last run all the way down close to the hotel. Good local restaurants and bars very close by - less than a minute out the door. The hotel used to be the local hub before new construction at the resort base was developed. I have skied and arranged many ski trips with friends and colleagues to Hemsedal since 1986, staying at the hotel on several occasions and have many good memories from after ski and dinners at the hotel amongst the other possibilities "downtown" Hemsedal.

    Love Hemsedal! Perfect ski resort. Good facilities. Have skied there a lot both down hill and cross country. Love the international feel. Great sports and interior stores. In general very friendly people. Nothing negative comes to mind!

    Appartement exactly as shown in the pictures, very spacious and lovely furnished. It provides everything you could wish for! We spent an extremely good time there and felt very much "at home". Contact with owner very easy and uncomplicated. Should we ever be back in Hemsedalen we would love to come back. Thank you, Mads, for letting us stay in your appartement.

    We liked this hotel. Style is old fashion, but its nice and cute, beds was comfortable, very warm inside rooms, big sitting area, hotel in the centrum, slopes are close, and ski buss near.
