Tommy is just the most fantastic host ever. We have travelled and stayed in hosts houses worldwide and I can safely say that there is none other that we've encountered who is more genuine, friendly, caring and truly loved what he does. He shared food and stories with us and the only thing we regret is that we only spent one night at Elvestua out of our 10 days in Norway. We will definitely plan to come back to experience the Northern Lights here and more importantly, to catch up with Tommy. A host who has become a friend in less than 24 hours! Very nice, cozy and clean house. Well equipped kitchen (with literally everything you may need), fireplace, porch and partial lake view. Quiet area. Easy access and check out with a key box. All in all it was perfect and we loved the place.

Supercozy house on the water. Quiet and peaceful and equipped with everything you need. Excellent views from the front windows, the terrace is perfect to watch the northern lights. The owner was super helpful with all my quedtions. Would love to return!
