    The hotel is located in a quiet area with a lack of local shops but these are available in the next town a few minutes away. The hotel is in need of a light refurbishmentas some areas are becoming tatty but it is still clean and comfortable.

    Room - comfortable, but bed was two singles pushed together with single duvets. Our check-in person at least was friendly, helpful and competent and eventually managed to correct all the errors caused by her colleagues at the other two local Fletcher hotels we'd been sent to. Check out person was apologetic and gracious.

    We took a night's rest after a few days of hiking. Hotel very well located for hiking and very welcoming staff. The bathroom could refreshed it's a amelioration.
