    We did visit Warmond instead only 2 km from the hotel.

    We did visit Warmond instead only 2 km from the hotel. Warmond is a very nice and small town with old renovated houses, lots of green and nice lake swimming fascilities. Beautiful area for walking and biking.

    We chose this property as it was close to Keukenhof Gardens, as well as other sights we wanted to visit. The accommodation is modern, clean, and private, with the added bonus of having driveway parking for our car. Our host, Bianca, was there to greet us when arrived, and provided us with enough food/drink for breakfast for the 4 nights we were staying there. Sassenheim itself is a charming town with local restaurants available (we particularly enjoyed eating at Eetcafe De Voogd).

    Van der Valk Sassenheim - Leiden is a very convenient hotel when traveling by car. It is located very close to the highway (A44). The room was very nice and large enough. The staff members I dealt with were very friendly.

    This hotel can create good atmosphere with candles etc. A lot people from outside but you don't feel discomfort. Very good reception work. 3 times at this hotel and all very professional.
