Amazing eye for detail - they had really thought about everything. Wonderful friendly staff, excellent breakfast and beautiful spacious and comfortable room. The location in the middle of the forest makes you forget you're in The Netherlands. Would 100% recommend.

Villa Veertien is exceptional--blending luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. The facilities are of the highest quality, with every detail seems to have been carefully considered, creating a truly enjoyable experience. My room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfortable. It was immaculately clean and quiet. The team at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The views from Villa Veertien offer stunning panoramas of the IJssel River and the serene countryside. Watching the shipping traffic glide along the river from the comfort of my room was unique. The wide windows framed the picturesque scenes of the river, with fields stretching peacefully into the distance.

What a find! Fantastic friendly and welcoming host who was very helpful. The breakfasts were exceptional. Give a time and the host would deliver a tray with a whole host of breakfast items. Help yourself to coffee and tea. There was a microwave and small fridge in the room plus crockery and cutlery. The location was perfect for my stay - seeing friends in the locality. I will certainly be returning:)

    Beautiful estate with 8.5 ha garden surrounding it. Carriage house has great restaurant (where we had our dinner and breakfast) and enjoyed great food. Pleasant walking area.. Our room was likely a room previously used as servant quarters as it was located in the attic on the 3rd floor. It had been remodeled to meet hotel room standards and was an adequate accommodation, but at a future visit I would not mind paying a higher fare for a room on the 1st floor (second floor in U.S.) We enjoyed our stay and surroundings.

    We could not stay at the hotel for the night. We could not access at the hotel. We knew the reception was closed but there was no way to get the keys to enter. No answer at the telephone. We had to find another hotel in the mid of the night.

    The location is super. You can plan any length of hike from this hotel. We also loved the restaurant. Not cheap but worth every penny. The food and the service were exquisite!
