The location is great, not far from the beach and restaurants (we have tried several of them and recomend Lemon Drop restaurant the most). The hosts were great, polite and very helpful. They have asisted us all the time even beyond all our expectations. They were always ready to fulfill our excursions wishes. Across the street a big new hotel is growing up so from time to time it was little bit noisy but at the time of our vidit it was impossible to avoid this. When the resort will be open the new stretch of bikini beach should be establish in vicinity, (not more than 60 m away) which is a very good spot for snorkeling too.

Nice place to stay in Rashdoo, on the opposite side of bikini beach but the island is tiny, it is only about a few minutes walk and close to Lemon Drop, the best restaurant in the island. We were picked up by Amir at the port which was a nice surprise as we only shared we were arriving by public ferry. Amir is always in top of everything, he arranged our boat tickets to Malé, he was the best!

Food choices comprised of Maldivian, European, Asian (Chinese and Thai), Indian and Japanese (sushi) dishes in addition to a supply of fresh fish options. There was a wide variety of salad as well. The quality of food offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic! The room are large and were very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is also very big. The entire property is very well maintained and easy to walk around. We saw several sharks and stingrays. The area is great for snorkelying. Veligandu is a fantastic choice for a resort and we would definitely return!

I liked everything!!! Honestly, I have never been in a place so hospitable as Ras Village. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was amazing, the price was very good but what made it so special was the people working there! Mujah and Ahmed are the heard and soul of Ras Village! They made sure that our stay there was going to be unforgettable. They provided everything we needed, and they arranged everything. They had arranged fun activities for us at very fair prices. If you want a local experience and you ask for it, you will get it. My group and I left Rashdoo with tears because we had to say goodbye to our now good friends. What makes a place special to me is the effort people spend to make their guests feel cosy and like home! They love what they do, and you can feel it! We were so comfortable there and we hadn't had a boring moment on that small island and that's all because Mujah and Ahmed! Thank you, my friends. We are definitely coming back soon!!
