You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. My favorite places were snorkeling from the pier of the Italian restaurant, and the water villas we stayed in (also good for snorkelling, but the water is very shallow). We had half-board, and were so happy with the breakfast and dinner buffets that we never opted for anything extra. Getting around in Maamigli on foot was easy for us, but I understand we could have requested golf cart transportation as well. We preferred walking. I was a little concerned beforehand whether we'd be spending a fortune on drinking water (since we didn't have all-inclusive), but drinking water was provided daily by the housekeeping, so no problem at all. Next time I'll make an even bigger effort to avoid getting sunburned. We used 50 SPF sunblock and re-applied often, but lengthy snorkeling still got some of our backs.Guest review byMikkoFinland

The breakfast is very good and plentiful, you can ask for it at any time you want and even request to customize it. They were above my expectations. The food was delicious. The Mammigli doesn't have any content in terms of great coffee, restorants, stores... there are a few of them. In that terms, don't expect too much. But if you want to see the culture of the island life and meet some of the Maldive people, this island could be a good choice. I'd like to also give a particular shout out to the staff at the medical clinic. My husband was taken ill whilst we were there ( totally unrelated to the hotel I must add) and the medical team were amazing, and took great care of him.
