Stunning property. Chiara is fantastically looking after the property and the guests. The room exceeded my expectations, breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect. Palazzino Birgu is ideal for tourists, but also for professionals who are visiting yachts in Grand Harbour Marina.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was extremely comfortable, with all the listed amenities and spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly cozy, and its location close to the airport was super convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind, making our experience even more delightful. Special thanks to Chardon at reception, who gave us invaluable tips for exploring the islands and made our anniversary extra special with a thoughtful gift of local wine. Shout out to Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Krishna from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make our breakfast experience exceptional every day, even offering us chai! Everything was very clean and very neat. I will surely revisit! Our room was cleaned every day we had amazing view from our window! The facilities in the room are amazing! We had towels, robes everything we needed. The stuff is amazing and so sweet and polite! You can ask them whatever you want. The location is amazing and the view from the hotel is amazing. You can also see the saluting battery from there.

    Loved the little streets and the marina.

    Loved the little streets and the marina. It was nice to walk around and look at all the super yachts moored there. The lovely square in the centre has cafes and restaurants as well as small shops and a bus stop. There is also the Malta at War Museum, the Inquisitors palace and the Fort which overlooks Valletta harbour. All worth a visit .

    We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name.

    We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name. It's full of history, the local people are incredibly friendly, and it's a great place from which to explore the rest of the island. We didn't have a car - Vittoriosa has a lot of very narrow cobbled streets, not car-friendly - a plus as far as we were concerned! If you're interested in Malta's history, stay here.

    I just returned from a 17 days stay in this house, and I was really lucky with this find. You cannot find a better location in or around Valletta. The entire Vittoriosa is oozing with charm, with its narrow tiled streets just below the massive St. Angelo fortress at the end of the peninsula. I was all around the different parts of Valletta, and nothing beats Vittoriosa. It reminded me a bit of the old Jerusalem.

    I am staying in Birgu for the second time.

    I am staying in Birgu for the second time. A quiet, peaceful area, there are also cafes for those who want it, easy access to Valletta and other areas. For those who like to wander through the narrow streets, climb the steps, take in the views from the quays - this is the place for you.

    More correctly called “Birgu”, the town is a far better...

    More correctly called “Birgu”, the town is a far better place to stay than either Senglea, which is run down, or Valletta which is overcrowded. The small gondola ferries keep the hoards at bay and so Birgu is a pleasant place to be both during the day and evening. The waterfront restaurants, especially “Cargo” are excellent. The tiny streets behind the central square are beautiful at night. Recommended attractions are St Angelo’s Fort and the Inquisitor’s Palace. Secret tip: the executioner’s house is round the back, the unrestored building with the blue balcony. The only downsides are that there are no shops of any value in the town and you cannot park within the walls.

    We loved the beautiful back streets, the local people were so kind and friendly. Everyone wS do incredibly helpful. The cuisine was delicious and we loved Jeff's patitsis especially the pea. The harbour view and long board walk was breathtaking, so much history here. So much to see. Its such an incredible place. A little hidden treasure. One of the most beautiful cities in the world.
