The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

It was simply precious. Private , secluded area. The owners picked us up with a jeep, organized a jungle tour for us and gave us a ride as well. The family is incredibly hard working and polite, they try their best to accommodate our wishes. The food is amazing. No AC but it wasn't necessary as it was pretty cool at night.

So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing. They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place. I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of work. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone visiting the area, whether for research or leisure. Highly recommended!
