We had an exceptional stay at Uga Riva. This hotel is top quality; a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms, quality linnen, great bathrooms, fabulous food… We arrived drenched from the rain and the staff immediately made us feel comfortable with hot tea and towels. They were extremely helpful and kind, and really helped bring the quality of our stay to the next level. A special thank you goes to Lahiru, Kumara, Yasith and Upul: they deserve a raise!

Such a lovely place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place itself is beautiful with all the plants and animals. Location is very good but still peaceful, away from the main road so it is quiet. Very good breakfast.

This is an oasis in Negombo. We had the Elephant suite. It has views of the river and it has its own pool. The rooms are spacious , the bathroom is lovely. Staff are so nice. We did the river boat trip ( Extra cost , but worth it), and saw kingfishers. An owl and bat island. Breakfast and dinner were both really good. Great place to either start or end your trip to Sri Lanka. Highly recommend.

Everything! Wow! Absolutely stunning! The family were welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are finished to an extremely high standard with the best breakfast we had during the two weeks we’d had in Sri Lanka! Amazing pool, everything spotlessly clean.
