Great location, 10min walking to the bamboo forest and temple. Get there early, this makes a big difference in crowd sizes in these very touristic places. Go further north for quieter and just as beautiful temples / areas. Helpful host and super useful parking space in kyoto. Plenty of space in the house for a family.

Everything was great from start to finish. The room was comfy and well thought out. And good size for Japan. The service was that of a 5 star hotel. We felt spoilt. They even offer a free (simple) breakfast. Everything was perfect. Thank you very much!

This is, for sure, the best hotel that my husband and I have been in. The room was super big, cozy and clean, there were free amenities for costumers, it was super close to the subway station and the staff speaks English very well. There are so many cool things inside the hotel that there was a day that we decided just to chill there. The price is also excellent!

The hotel is newly built, all the equipments are very modern & beautiful. They use an app for no-waiting check-in & you can request 2h early check-in (1pm) with 1,500 yen. There are luggage room with locks to use if you come early. The room is very clean with newly furnitures & comfortable beds. Room is spacious and bigger than Japan standard. Locations is near the city main shopping street & market. There are some supermarkets & several good retaurants nearby.

The staff was really kind and always available if you had any questions, they gave us good recommendations and good advice for how to get to arashiyama in the fastest way possible (better than google maps). The room was lovely, well equipped and spacious.

The room was very cozy though small, but very convenient. Seemed the hotel is very new, which was nice, staff helped us to send our bags to the next hotel. Also there is very nice restaurant with Thai food in the lobby. Super happy with the hotel! Thank you!

Loved this hotel! Fantastic location, stylish rooms and helpful staff. the balcony in our room was great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The kitchenette was very useful and meant we could make our own breakfasts. Easy to reach from the train station.

Location is ideal. Nice and cozy restaurants 3-5 min away hidden in alleys. The lounge is a fantastic idea, where you can finish your day with a beer, Sake, and snacks.     The location was ideal for sightseeing, and if we could have stayed longer we would. The proximity to Arashiyama was ideal with kids. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The pictures of the property are very accurate and our stay exceeded our expectations.
