The Thursday BBQ is a must-experience! Grilled local specialties paired with Sagrantino wines under a starry sky created a warm, festive vibe in Saragano’s picturesque streets. The rooms are exquisite—elegant, immaculate, and cozy, with jaw-dropping views. The hillside pool and spa are heavenly, perfect for ultimate relaxation. We absolutely loved Borgo Petroro for many reasons - it's fabulous location in the middle of the beautiful, quiet Umbrian countryside, it's amazing historical and clean visual appeal, the relaxing garden and other lovely areas to sit, the bikes to hire for a wonderful safe ride with amazing views, the great breakfast with plenty of variety, the castle cat, our enormous suite, the most enjoyable evening meals and the very attentive, friendly restaurant manager Mansour!!

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous historical building , and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms (there was even a tv by the shower), and very clean, kind staff excellent service I would definitely back

    The property looks nice from outside.The view and the surrounding is beautiful. The staff weren’t very helpful, and the restaurant close on Monday which i knew before, but if i didn’t do a research where to eat, we literally would have stayed without food. We had dinner there the night before, very humble food. The room we stayed in on 1st floor was very very noisy. In October not a great time to visit that area because ur stuck and cant relax by pool, and if you don’t have a car don’t bother to visit at all.
