A luxurious multi-generational family home with two guestrooms on a separate ground level having their own entrance, well apart from the family quarters, with French doors opening to a private terrace. It was like staying with a family but with the privacy and autonomy of a hotel. We returned late every evening but never felt like we had to tiptoe or whisper. The gardens are amazing and the pool is like what you'd find at a resort, albeit unheated--we swam, with courage, in late September. Location is well connected to everything around the two lakes. Our room was spotless and the bathroom commodious with plenty of shelves for toiletries and a huge shower. Lovely Continental breakfast including the family's homemade jam. Ample parking inside the gated property. We live in Rome so not far away, but we will definitely return for another weekend getaway, probably in high summer when the pool would be the main attraction.

    Great for cycling with all the hills! Saw a lot of very fit looking cyclists! Nice community with friendly people Options for eating/drinking out a short distance. Small supermarket. Great views as on a hill

    The owners could not be more helpful and kind ! we recommend 100 percent. the breakfast was delicious and different each day. homemade cakes by the owners à délice 😋. It is not the first time we have stayed here , why we come back …. the views from the hotel of Rome are absolutely breathtaking. the best place to stay if you want a comfortable place to stay out of the city. we really loved our 4 day stay

    The service beated the level of a four star hotel, which is really excetional, and for which we are grateful. After recognising that my wife is gluten sensitive, special breakfast was provided for her.

    the breakfast was amazing- the owners wife baked delicious cakes, but owner himself every morning prepared traditional savory bruschetta and focaccia. the hotel is very clean and well maintained.
