We arrived late at 9.30 PM, and although the kitchen was closed, the hosts still made us a delicious meal. The food was excellent, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt truly taken care of and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week with our two grown up children and what a lovely time we had. Our two bed, two bathroom apartment (Isola Polvese )was spotlessly clean offering good quality air con in both bedrooms and the living area ( this deserves a 10/10 alone .)There was a lovely terrace with plenty of shade and wonderful views. We had the use of two swimming pools which were never very busy ( assumed other guests, like ourselves were sightseeing much of the day.) The perfect accommodation for visiting local hilltop villages and towns. You must take a walk into the local village of Paciano. Also take the short drive to the stunning little hill top town of Panicale with its views, restaurants and action packed square. We toured around the wonderful lake Trasimeno and spent a day or two on its swimming beaches and just relaxing with the locals . Highly recommend this area as it’s so beautiful and quiet .

 ONE OF A KIND HOSTS IN JEWEL OF A GUEST The hospitality and kindness of Donatella and Raphael has no limit. Every need of guests are handled with ease, special requests quickly satisfied. All of it comes so naturally to these consummate hosts. A ride to the train station, suggestion for a wine tour, a recommendation for a special restaurant made our stay a memorable experience. These are truly beautiful people who provide a memories not just a room for sleeping. Five star service! The historic guest house is as special as are the hosts. Every sleeping room, the lobby, sitting and breakfast rooms are appointed with wonderfully presented antiques. Bistro tables in the garden are an outdoor alternative for enjoying Donatella’s breakfast pastries prepared daily. A trained pastry chef her delights call for second helpings. Walking in the gardens cause guests to decompress. This is a peaceful and unrushed retreat located within steps of Chiusi’s primary attractions.     We really didn't spend too much time in Paciano...it was...

    We really didn't spend too much time in Paciano...it was just an overnight stay as we drove through the Umbria and Tuscany region. I do recommend Il Poderaccio Osteria. We had one of our favorite meals of our entire vacation in Italy here. It was a quiet Wednesday evening and although it was still early and we were probably the first guests for the dinner service, we were treated like VIP's and the food is top quality.

    Paciano is a delightful and quiet hamlet with a couple of restaurants and wine bar. It’s within easy reach of the highways to Perugia and Cortona, both 40 minutes or Sienna about 1hr. The roads are good and easy for cycling, little traffic and interesting trails amongst groves and fields of sunflowers. Vineyards too but not so much information readily available to comment

    The lovely old farmhouse is in a quiet and peaceful location just above Paciano which is a peaceful typical Italian village with great restaurants. Alice and Giacomo are lovely people. Alice lives nearby and was very helpful answering questions and giving us ideas of places to visit. The farmhouse overlooks Lake Trasimeno across olive groves. Its a good location to visit southern Tuscany and Umbria. Guaranteed a good nights sleep in the very comfortable beds.

    Rebecca and Roberto were fantastic hosts, really kind and accommodating. They also gave us some fantastic recommendations of where to visit in the area. Room was well maintained, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the one dinner we had there was also fantastic. Highly recommended staying here if you are visiting Tuscany and Umbria area! Thank you once again Rebecca and Roberto!

    Claudio was a perfect host. He was really helpful with advice and ensuring that I had everything I needed. The hotel is a beautifully renovated historic building and had been done so very tastefully. The breakfast was amazing. Home made and very tasty. I couldn't have asked for more. I look forward to returning in the summer so I can sit in the garden for a pre-dinner drink or a Sunday brunch!

    Our stay was perfect, even though we did not actually meet Olivier we felt very much welcome. The unit stayed fresh at all time, appreciated during the heat wave we experienced. Swimming pool was always very clean. The neighbors are friendly. Location is ideal, 15 min away from Castiglione, 5 min from the first restaurants, shops and laundry services.

    Stunning location. Beautiful building/s. We stayed in the two bedroom house and it was superb. Pool was fantastic and clean as well. Beautiful ground and surrounds with a gorgeous view over to Lake Trasimeno.
