This area is a perfect base for visiting the Amalfi Coast. The bus takes you to Sorrento one way and Positano the other, but can get full up quickly. However there are taxis around if you prefer. This is an adorable and cozy little harbor community, that feels like Family. Overseen by Angelo and his family, who own the bar, alimentaria, and other key facilities, it is a congregated entertainment opportunities that allow you to stay and have everything you need right at hand! Our stay at Ristorante Hotel La Primavera could not have been better. The room and hotel were wonderful. The food was great. Best of all the service was 5 star! My wife and I were treated like special guests and family the entire time. Claudio, Nino, Luigi, and Marina and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. We loved everything about this little resort.
We loved everything about this little resort. Best to hire a car and trip around. Or scooters. You can’t do this place without one. And the staff helped us get one. They helped us with all our day trips and advice. The only thing I would say is the owner need softer mattress toppers as the beds were super hard. That’s all. This place is a must . The views were incredible, one of the best places I've stayed. The apartment had two balconies providing views of Capri, Ischia and Vesuvius with tables and deck chairs provided. The interior facilities were also great. The owner Sabato was very helpful providing clear instructions on how reach the property. He met us the Massa Lubrense bus stop and transported our luggage down to the property. He also provided some great local information. Perfection location, about 15 minutes bus journey from Sorrento with regular busses running a 10 minute walk away. Lovely quiet area, with access to a gorgeous private beach & a lovely pool. Everything you need just a short walk away, including a supermarket, restaurants and cafe. Right beside a gorgeous marina and the hotel staff booked boat tours for his, which was very helpful. There is a direct bus from right outside to Sorrento (about 1hr long journey), as well as very good boat tours you can do to Amalfi coast or Capri from right outside which the hotel helps organise, but best to book in advance. The location is quite remote and quiet otherwise even in high season. There’s only a few good restaurant options really. This sleepy village is among local residents, olive and lemon tree groves away from the hectic of Napoli and Amalfi coast. Cozy and homy like staying in your second house. The kitchen is well equipped, clean bathroom and toilet, there is place to do laundry, a private terrace to have meal outside, etc. Candida is very lovely and always helpful to our questions.
