Hmm interesting, not a lot of English spoken down this far, we don’t expect people to have to talk English at all, but I think people weren’t confident talking to us so avoided us, they weren’t rude just not too helpful. Parking is quite easy as not busy here. There’s not as much to do here or as many tourist attractions as further north . We enjoyed Lecce very much. But Oria and Manduria not so much. Food was very good when we found somewhere but getting to sit down and feel comfortable was difficult. A good starting point for destinations by the sea.
A good starting point for destinations by the sea. Manduria is eminently charming although going longer than a week makes it necessary to eat in the same places. The restaurant base is not very large.Guest review byJakubPoland
