Malcesine is a great little village and Hotel Malcesine had some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Be aware that the gondolier to Monte Baldo is incredibly inefficient and you can spend over an hour waiting to get onto the gondolier and even more getting back Having said that I would absolutely recommend going up Baldo for the breathtaking views. Castle worth a visit views from Tower are awesome / too many lovely restaurants and coffee shops to name ! Loved swimming in lake past the castle ! Malcesine is a busy town spread down the east side of the lake. It has a frequent bus service which is not expensive and easier than trying to find somewhere to park! There is a wide range of hotel accommodation to suit most budgets. The beaches are pebbly, but the water is very clear so great for swimming or just cooling off. There are plenty of places to eat, again to suit most budgets and tastes. This was our second visit to the area and we will certainly return.Guest review byHindhaughFrance - 10.0

My second time visiting Malcesine, the best place to be if you're wanting a town with a buzz and plenty of activities. I've been twice solo but having been the second time round I would definitely recommend travelling with another person/group here, I felt that groups tended to stick to themselves.Guest review byAnonymous

The outlook over the lake is just perfect, with the seating slightly elevated over the promenade. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The pool is situated at the back of the hotel and was quiet throughout our stay, with ample sun beds available. The hotel has ample parking.
