A Gem in Ravenna – Villa Roncuzzi is Pure Perfection Villa Roncuzzi is an absolute treasure. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into an impeccably clean, beautifully maintained space that exudes charm and comfort. Once a historical convent, it has been sympathetically and tastefully renovated, striking the perfect balance between old-world elegance and modern convenience. Every detail speaks of care and quality. Crisp, fresh, white cotton linen is everywhere—on the beds, in the bathrooms, and even in the dining areas. The towels are luxuriously soft, with extra ones thoughtfully offered for the swimming pool. The orangery dining area is absolutely immaculate, with the softest napkins I have ever experienced—an understated yet beautiful touch that makes each meal feel special. The gardens are a work of art—manicured, refined, and enhanced by perfect lighting that makes evenings here magical. Each room feels special, with thoughtful design touches and a unique character. Ground-floor rooms open directly onto the gardens or swimming pool area, adding a sense of privacy and connection to the outdoors. The facilities are accessible to everyone, including guests with disabilities, which makes the property truly inclusive. Breakfast is nothing short of excellent—fresh, varied, and served with care. The hospitable staff make you feel like a valued guest rather than just a visitor, always ready with helpful recommendations and warm conversation. Villa Roncuzzi is also brilliantly located: close to motorways, the Adriatic coast, and well-positioned for exploring Ravenna and beyond. It’s perfect for a summer getaway by the pool, but equally inviting in winter thanks to its cosy relaxation lounge. We had a wonderful stay thanks to the amazing owners that run the hotel and restaurant in a kind and joyful way. Such a pleasure to be their guests, you really feel very well looked after. The room was very comfortable with all functioning amenities. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional elegant style. Breakfast was superb with delicious local products. We loved our first night dinner there with a great choice of both pizza and local dishes. Free parking outside.

Recently renovated building with great attention to detail. Breakfast in the garden was wonderful. Check-in was smooth and quick. There is parking just a few meters away, and the town center is within walking distance.

Very friendly host who helped us with the information about the town. The center is easy accessible by car. The apartment is comfortable, and it is easy to park the car in front of the building. Kitchen is well equiped with coffee and washing maschine. The host even prepared coffee capsules for us.

Really friendly and welcoming host. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. The location is very quiet, but only a few minutes walk to the old town with lots of great food options. The Italian breakfast was great--some pastries and a couple savory options as well. All in all, a great place for Ravenna for a couple nights.
