Stayed too far from city center. Taxi was about $100 euros each way. Would have stayed longer if we had the time. If we stayed longer we would choose a hotel much closer to tourist areas, we stayed close to the airport. It is a good transit town for flights in and out of Rome for a one or two night stay. There is a nice beach and also a marina. Plenty of restaurants and a good Conad supermarket near the Marina. The streets have lots of refuse and could be better kept. Fine for a short stay but not somewhere I would stay for a holiday per say. Our accommodation provided transport to and from the airport which was a bonus. If you love the water/fishing then you would love this fishing town. So relaxing to watch the fishing boating come in with the catch of the day. Large spacious room with large light filled modern bathroom and great variety of breakfast food. Luana & Petro were so kind and hospitable even walking me to an ATM and the local Pizzeria Galleria a few metres down the road. Home is close to beach. Kids loved the pool and the facilities and reception staff were great. The rooms were also very comfortable with pleasant views of the gardens/pool. Though it was a little difficult finding the shuttle bus at Fiumicino airport, the driver managed to get all 9 of us with luggage to the Hotel safely and pretty quickly, given the traffic. Self-check in and check-out ran smoothly, rooms had good infrastructure, plus they work with two drivers in the region that charge way less than taxis.
