Everything! We wanted a day off from the long drive we were on back to the UK from Sicily and this hotel was the prefect choice. The rooftop pool with plenty of sunbeds was perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine. In the hotel, our room was big and comfortable and the fresh fruit in the bowl was a nice touch. As we have found during our numerous hotel stays, breakfast can be hit and miss, but here it was varied and plentiful and set us up for the day. Parking is always a concern for us, being in my own car and not just a hired one, and here the car park was free and safely underground, unlike some of the other places we've stayed where they've charged €20 or even €30 per night to park!! All in all, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, and we hope to return when we do the journey again next year and stay a little longer. In particular, the manager was very friendly and hospitable, and I'd like to thank him for taking the time to explain about the barrel rolling festival in Montepulciano. We watched it together on TV in the lounge. Very interesting.

The room was basic butclean and not too small. The bed was comfortable. Good amount of towels available. The mini-fridge was greatly appreciated. friendly and helpful staff and decent breakfast.

It was simply the cleanest place I have ever stayed, the room and bathroom were spotless and watching the staff wipe down a table in the resteraunt I can see why. We were lucky to be on the top floor and had a wonderful view from our room. The quirkiness of the decor was also very charming and days after arrival we were still noticing new details. All in all it was an excellent value for money.

I travel a lot through Europe and spend the night in the most diverse locations. This trip took me to the beautiful town of Chianciano in picturesque Tuscany. When I arrived after a long journey, I did not expect to end up in a Wellness & Medical Spa, but it was the case. A beautiful and beautifully decorated building in a picturesque street. Upon entering the bright and beautifully decorated hall, there is a view of the restaurant and bar, which with the right guests can lead to pleasant and atmospheric moments. The welcome from the brother and sister who operate the hotel was friendly and service-oriented. There is a swimming pool in the building and outside the village the hotel even has a swimming pool that can be reached by (electric) bicycle. My room was correctly and equipped with a good bed, sufficient cupboards and an excellent bathroom with more than enough clean towels and everything you need to freshen up in case you lose everything along the way. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel you will find several restaurants, interspersed with ice cream parlors and pizzerias with cozy terraces. The atmosphere in the evening was very pleasant. A wonderful destination for business travelers like me. However, this location, which is 15 minutes away from the motorway, also serves as an excellent base for discovering this beautiful part of Tuscany for couples or groups who enjoy cycling, walking and a challenging search for delicious wines on their To Do list.     The house was cozy and spotless. It has full equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and the best part is the peace and quiet. The garden smells like spring in October, the air is really pure. Val d'Orcia's beautiful towns are in 15-20 mins by car. Our host Giuseppe was very helpful and friendly. We had a really great time in Contignano. Absolutely recommend!
