We absolutely loved Borgo Petroro for many reasons - it's fabulous location in the middle of the beautiful, quiet Umbrian countryside, it's amazing historical and clean visual appeal, the relaxing garden and other lovely areas to sit, the bikes to hire for a wonderful safe ride with amazing views, the great breakfast with plenty of variety, the castle cat, our enormous suite, the most enjoyable evening meals and the very attentive, friendly restaurant manager Mansour!!

The range of food available for the breakfast was excellent and very tasty. The hotel building was beautifully quaint and old world. The town of Todi was like something from a fairytale especially the little narrow roads that were a joy to walk. A special mention for the hotel staff who went well beyond the call of duty to make our stay a very enjoyable experience.

KEY POINTS: Fantastic location (1-2mins walk from main square) Very clean No key to lose! Best bed ever! Wonderful hosts I absolutely LOVE everything about this place. Everything you need is right there. The interior design is gorgeous and cozy. The hosts are so thoughtful in leaving everything you could possibly need and trusting us with their nice things.     The staff was outstanding-they really took care of us. The hotel itself is beautiful -location, building, furniture, design all exceeded expectations. We used the spa facilities and they were wonderful and reasonably priced. Dinner was also excellent, one of the best meals we had during our trip.
