    The Grand hotel in Chianciano Terme' this is the hotel' we booked by international standards this should be a 1 star hotel with a warning do not book this hotel. The hotel is very outdated filled with a foul smell. The rooms & bathrooms lacks basic renovations and mould is every where in the bathroom. The breakfast is very poor offering basic and cheap shop bought cereals mostly reheated frozen pastries, the coffee machine broke down. The hotel charged us for rooms with no restraint, the hotel should have closed down a long time ago, it is no longer fit for purpose. I advise people not to go to the hotel do not waste your money & precious memories, we came back with insect bites all over our bodies. The photos of the hotel does not reflect the reality.

    The town is nice.

    The town is nice. It is a quiet time of the year, but the merchants we encountered were friendly. The Terme Theia was ok, but the management inflexible when I tried to inform them of a booking error within 24hours of making it they did not reply to my emails, and when I spoke to the they said that once I paid there was no refund or changes. I prefer the Terme sensoriale, but unfortunately they are only open on weekends

    a nice town with an old part behind the walls. lots of greenery, parking lots and bars, walking paths and restaurants.During the day, we walked around Okpliška, in the evening we came to the city for dinner and to the accommodation to rest. we ate at pizzeria Rosso vivo. I have never had a better pizza, the price was not too high either. The food at La Torretta was also very tasty.

    Chianciano Terme is a quaint little southern Tuscany town...

    Chianciano Terme is a quaint little southern Tuscany town with great restaurants, little streets and beautiful architecture. It's a great gateway to many other local towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano among many others. There are thermal sources nearby such as San Filippo and great hikes such as la Foce. Florence is a 2 1/2 - 3 hours drive depending on traffic.

    Charming local town with some good bars and restaurants. A great base away from the tourists hot spots but an excellent location to visit those attractions whilst experiencing life in a real local Tuscan town.

    The museum is amazing!!!

    The museum is amazing!!! We were hoping to visit a thermal pool but the one we went to (Theia) had so many rules and was so expensive for the amount of time we wanted to stay that we left. (The staff there could have been friendlier.) It’s probably better to go if you have several hours to spend. Also, as Americans from Montana, it was stressful and confusing trying to figure out rules for parking. Chianciano is nicely situated for day drives to other beautiful spots in Tuscany and Umbria.

Chef Fabio is equally impressive; his culinary creations are nothing short of delicious and added so much to our stay. We had a wonderful three days here and were genuinely sad to leave.     Hotel Reali has all you need for a wonderful vacation in the extremely beautiful Val d'Orcia. Nice and comfortable room with a splendid view, very delicious food in the restaurant, but most of all - the kind, supportive and very friendly staff. We want to thank once again Diego, who made us feel like special guests. Not to be missed - the spacious parking, which was very convenient. Highly recommended!

    The location, the staff and definitely the breakfast with lots of healthy choices, a great variety of fruits and yoghurt. A nice finiah is the big choice of cakes which also look lovely. Concerning the style, this hotel was certainly once a big and luxurious hotel, I still like the style.
